Lash extensions typically last through your natural lash cycle, with most guests enjoying a beautiful, full look for approximately 4–6 weeks when properly cared for. Because natural lashes shed at different rates, regular fills every 2–3 weeks help maintain consistent fullness and a polished look.

A full set appointment typically takes about 1 and a 1/2 hours, depending on the style and fullness you choose. At D.Sierra, we never rush the process, each extension is carefully applied to create a customized, comfortable and beautifully finished result.

Absolutely! Your lash extensions can and should be gently cleansed with our D.Sierra lash-safe cleanser as part of your regular aftercare. Keeping your lashes clean helps remove oils, makeup and buildup while supporting healthy retention. After your appointment, follow your lash artist’s specific aftercare instructions, and avoid excessive heat, steam and rubbing around the eye area. Always pat or gently fan your lashes dry, never rub them.

Clean lashes are healthy lashes! We recommend gently cleansing your extensions with our D.Sierra lash-safe cleanser and a soft lash cleansing brush. Gently pat or fan your lashes dry. Never rub, pull or pick at your extensions. Regular cleansing removes oils, makeup and buildup, helping support beautiful retention and keeping your lashes fresh, clean and comfortable.

For the best retention and consistently full lashes, we recommend booking your fill every 2–3 weeks. Your natural lashes continuously shed and grow, so regular fills replace extensions that have naturally shed and keep your set looking fresh, full and beautifully maintained. Waiting too long between fills may require a new full set.

The best way to sleep with lash extensions is on your back whenever possible, helping prevent your lashes from rubbing against your pillow. If you sleep on your side, try to avoid pressing your eyes directly into the pillow. Silk or satin pillowcases can also help reduce friction. Most importantly, avoid rubbing, pulling or sleeping face-down on your lashes to help maintain beautiful retention and keep your extensions looking fresh.

For the best possible application, arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Please avoid mascara, eyeliner, eye creams, oils and heavy eye makeup before your appointment. We also recommend avoiding curling your natural lashes that day. Clean, product-free lashes allow your extensions to bond properly and help your artist create the most beautiful, long-lasting result.
